If you are looking for a new lifetime companion, this is the place for you. All applicants will be required to complete a questionnaire and sign a commitment letter, see “Adoption Application" below. Our adoption fee may include spay/ neuter, and many times the first series of distemper / upper respiratory vaccinations, leukemia testing, and/or treatment for internal parasites. The amount of the adoption fee if any will be left to the foster person caring for the feline. Potential adopters are carefully screened, and special effort is made to match the adopter with just the right feline for their family. Each adopter signs a contract with the Cat Foster Parent. Seeing our cats go into loving homes is the reward of the volunteer’s efforts. We miss them very much when they leave, but each cat's departure makes room for another who may have been without food, shelter, or affection. Adopting from one of our local rescuer’s is a good way to help in our community. Nothing matches the unconditional love of an animal who wants only to please us. Our pets are sometimes our first and best friends. We're calmed by our cats' purrs, revitalized by their energy, and warmed by the love offered without reservation by our feline companions. Your feline companion, male or female, will be happier and healthier if you spay or neuter before they have a chance to reproduce. It's the right thing to do, it's the responsible thing to do. Be a responsible pet owner, always spay or neuter.
